Sunday my bat-loving friend, Wendels, passed her motorcycle safety course… good thing maneuvering a figure 8 is rarely a defensive technique to avoid an accident. Surely I jest, because I too hate figure 8s.  In fact, to be truthful, I prefer figure 1s (yes, that’s figure ones).

Immediately we began the process of scouring Craigslist for the best/worst deals we could find.  After looking at a few pops (that’s pieces of poop for those not in the know), she landed herself a 2004 Harley Davidson Sportster 883.  The bike is in excellent condition, runs well, and was ridiculously priced – it sure beat that 1985 Kawasaki Vulcan I originally wanted her to buy as a starter bike.

Once it’s registered we will both be spending some time in the parking lots working on our slow maneuvering.

So stoked to have another riding partner!
Ride hard, ride safe and enjoy every mile.
